RED SAUCE

Hey dear,
Here's my last post for 2016 and what better way to end it than with an Outfit post! So its Harmattan here in Nigeria, and this how it's got me, especially in the mornings. I paired my lace Bomber Jacket with this purple palazzo pants and black socks and a bandana (all you need for this weather). Reason for the title of this post is because, in this weather we all need  Hot Sauce. Styled the bomber jacket as an off-shoulder, one-shoulder outfit and full. What's your take on it?

2016 IN REVIEW

2016 has been my year of Beginnings; the year I started this blog (Blogiversary soon guys) , the year I started the MoonWalker brand (the cloth, footwear and bag designing, wig making and consultations) and also the year my social life and interaction took a downturn 😢

It was also the year I fell in love with Blue unconsciously and also my shoulders 

THINGS I LEARNED IN 2016

- Do good as always, even if there is no profit or reward.

- Be kind and helpful to people (in words, cash, kind and any little way you can)

- Smile always! You don’t know who your smile might brighten their day or who might fall in love with it ☺

- Busy does not mean Productive. You can be busy and not productive.

- The fact that people aren’t talking doesn’t mean they aren’t watching

- Give it your all, irrespective of what people think about it, because they will be the ones praising you when you are done.

- Believe in yourself Always!

- Better Days are ahead! Don’t think too much on your past, losses and failures. Move on!

COLOR POP SERIES - MW SHIFT DRESS 2

  So, here's the second look I created and this can be worn to movies, casual events and all. Paired this shift dress with canvas because I couldn't resist my cool and edgy look (my go-to look 😏). I love how the canvas gave me a really casual look (footwear go a long way in changing your look)

Back to this outfit
   I've been in love with bell sleeves lately and shift dresses ever since I got one which I shared here, so I decided to design one and ever since been lazy to post it, so here it is!
This shift dress, gave me all sort of vibes, so I couldn't resist styling it in 3 different ways. Here is one of the ways, will share the other looks soon (Subscribe, so you will know when). December is going to be filled with lots of shopping parties, fashion cookouts and all, and this shift dress is the perfect outfit for this!
Am I the only one who thinks the Hair and the Dress complement each other ? giving this Mama Africa vibes 😛😏.

"SANTA CAME IN EARLY" WISHLIST

Hey guys,   
  This post has been sitting in my draft for a long time now, so lets pretend it was posted the time it was supposed to -__-
Since this year is choosing to run faster than Usain Bolt, I have decided to do a "Santa came in Early" wishlist. Are you excited that Christmas is in about a month's time?! I do have mixed feelings, because I'm wondering where all the months ran to, was there a memo concerning race of the fastest year that I wasn't aware of?! -__- .
    Dear Santa,
I've been good all year round and wouldn't mind these things and many more before the year runs out. 
Here's my Christmas Wishlist (No.1 is Money, but who ain't got money on their wishlist though?! )

- Burgundy Chelsea Boots

I'm a huge lover of Chelsea Boots and the burgundy colour is my fave!!!
I've been looking for this since like forever! A friend wanted to get for me, but couldn't get my size (small size problems -__-). just in case you want to gift me with this I'm a 37/38.

- Tripod with Remote

You know how you make mental notes in your head to save up for something but keep forgetting about it, till a situation pops up?! Well that's the situation here with the tripod, I remember it, whenever I wanna take pictures for the blog and my siblings are using me to form. A Tripod with remote, so my struggles can stop. So, yh, A Tripod with a remote for my Canon EOS 7D.

Been wanting this for a while now but exchange rate and account balance are being coup plotters atm -__-


- Shoes!

Just because I've been having bad luck with shoes and my  shoe collection needs an upgrade.

Outreach to motherless baby homes have been on my list for a while now, but certain things keep happening, hopefully I would be able to pull this off this year.

LOOK BOOK CRUSH - OHUN ÌJÌNLÈ

Hey Diary Keepers,
  I'm introducing a new category on the blog, titled Look book Crush, where we gush and crush about wonderful Lookbooks made especially by Nigerian Brands. A lookbook is a collection of photographs compiled to show off a model, a photographer, a style, or stylist or a clothing line (Wikipedia). Look books in Nigeria have taken a new toll, as they have become more creative and appealing.   Today's Lookbook Crush is OHUN ÌJÌNLÈ" (MYSTERY) Collection by Sevon Dejana.  When I saw a picture of this collection, I went straight to the brand's page because it was soo lovely, I was in love with the pieces of the collection, I just had to send them an email for more pictures to share with you'll, couldn't crush on these beauties alone. To me, this collection speaks Elegance, what you wear to an Awards Dinner, Red Carpet Event; to slay and give people something worthwhile to talk about. I also love how they made red look so Gorgeous and something I would want to wear (as I was never enthusiastic about the color)
